Overview

On the La Jolla campus of the VA San Diego Healthcare System, the new Spinal Cord Injury & Community Living Center (SCI/CLC) adds a modern inpatient and rehabilitation hub for Veterans with spinal cord injuries and disorders. The ~197,000-SF, multi-level facility is designed with 50 private SCI inpatient rooms, 32 CLC beds, and extensive outpatient/therapy clinics (including PT/OT and aquatic therapy). It’s the anchor project in a multi-phase campus upgrade that also delivered a ~900-stall, seven-level parking structure and central utility plant improvements.

Our Scope

Adonius provided new-equipment logistics and warehousing, sequencing shipments for inpatient rooms, therapy/rehab areas, and specialty spaces (e.g., aquatic therapy) and coordinating just-in-time deployment aligned to phased inspections and activation.
